We always have a Certified Arborist on site that has been trained and has the experience to safely remove your tree.

We are fully insured.

We have the correct equipment to keep our staff safe.

We use specialized lowering equipment to lower large branches in a controlled manner.

We clean up all branches and wood, and dispose of them in an environmentally manner. We never return the wood to landfill (unless diseased) and the brush is turned into compost.

We understand the biology of your tree and know how best to prune each species of tree.

We will thin out your tree achieving better light penetration and gaining less wind resistance to minimize the potential of storm damage.

We will remove dead or decaying branches.

We will remove any branches that are encroaching on roofs, walls, windows, utility wires, driveways and sidewalks.

We will remove any branches that are rubbing against one another, which is a source of decay.

We sterilize our tools before pruning to help minimize the spread of diseases.

We use the correct equipment and our experience to safely remove large branches.

We understand how a tree heals and wont make cuts in places that would be harmful to the tree.

We do not over-prune; removing more than 25% of the tree’s foliage can cause the tree to produce ‘watersprouts’, upright vigorous stems. Watersprouts look unnatural and are weakly attached.

We DO NOT style or ‘top’ trees. Tree topping will cost you more in the long run, watersprouts grow back quickly and the tree will be more susceptible to pests and diseases.

We do not ‘Lion tail’ (a term to describe the removal of lower branches on a single  branch), pruning this way cause a reduced taper in the branch which will be prone to breaking.
